ICE AND GREY

Another, cold, grey, icy day.  No school (it was scheduled) so I took off work early.  Saw a few accidents but managed it safely.  Found a new wild bird store that I think I will frequent.  The birds seem to be appreciating the treats I am leaving for them as evidenced in the picture.  The kids call me the crazy bird lady....

Off to a ....not so good start

Wow...sticking to this is going to be harder than I thought.  So few daylight hours and lack of focus.  Need to get better about this!

First snow/ice of the year. It was a great opportunity to feed my bird friends.

Almost 60 degrees here today. People running and a bird on the lake that I have never seen before.  By the time I got around to the lake, the sun had gone in and the clouds had moved it, making it a gloomy shot, but the only one I took today..

Today is Day One

Yes, anyone who knows me knows that I have been obsessed with my camera for as long as I can remember. From my first Kodak with flashcubes to my current Canon. I lust for new camera equipment and for more time to enjoy my obsession.

This blog will be attempt to re-ignite my passion and force me to find that one shot and step out of my comfort zone. I realize that a picture a day is cliche' and has been done over and over. For me, it is not just about the pictures, but my personal journey for the year.   It's time to come out of my shell and discover more about me.
